Johne's Management Scheme
Due to COVID-19, the Johne’s management action group have extended the 2020 deadline, for Phase 2 of the Johnes National Management Plan, and the return of completed and signed declarations to your milk purchaser. Please follow any specific guidance and requests direct from your milk purchaser.
Every farm must complete an assessment, of their Johnes risks, by a BCVA Accredited Johne’s Veterinary Adviser. The status of the herd must be declared to their milk purchaser and a Johne's management plan put in place by 31st December 2020.
The CIS Johne’s Quarterly Testing results are available to be reviewed on the CIS website and are integrated into action lists enabling you to make informed decisions about your current and future herd health and performance.
